Here are a list of new products from CitySoft Software which work in
conjunction with The C Window Library.
THE C DATA FORMS LIBRARY
------------------------
The C Data Forms Library allows you to create data entry forms. Some of
the features are as follows:
* You can have simple windowed forms or have forms that are larger than the
physical screen (virtual forms).
* You have pre and post functions on the field level as well as the global
level (pre-post function is called for all fields).
* Fields can have a user defined error function tied to them.
* Fields can be highlighted as the input cursor is moved from field to
field, or can remain the same color regardless of where the input cursor
is.
* Automatic conversion of a field to the right data type, and then the
converted value can be assigned to any variable you choose.
* User defined validation functions can be applied to any field after the
user has accepted the input.
* User defined form exit function. Check if user really wants to exit
the form. Go back to any field if user wants to continue.
* Load forms with data before input.
* Implement choice lists easily with popup menus.
* Retrieve data from the form at any time, even if the form is not
currently being edited.
* Trap undefined keys and call user defined function.
The above are just some of the features of The C Window Library's form
functions.
The cost of The C Data Forms Library is $25 for the object library for all
memory models and the source code.
The library supports Turbo C 2.0 and above, Borland C++, Microsoft C version
5.1 and above, Power C version 2.0 and above, and Zortech C versions 2.0 and
above. Also required is The C Window Library.
If your budget is very tight, you can order the Medium Memory model for all
listed compilers. This version will work with the shareware version of The C
Window Library versions 2.0 and above. The price for the medium model only
is only $10. Later on, you can update to the full version for the difference
in the price.
THE C MOUSE LIBRARY
-------------------
The C Mouse Library allows you to create programs that can utilize a
Microsoft compatible mouse. Here is a list of the major features of the
library:
* You designate which windows will be 'mouse sensitive' and exactly what
mouse options can be used on these windows.
* You can resize a window with the mouse by grabbing any corner that you
have designated as a 'resize' corner. One, two, three, or all corners
can be used by the mouse as a 'resize' corner.
* You can move a window on the screen with the mouse.
* You can zoom and unzoom a window.
* You can promote a window to the top of the pile of windows using the
mouse.
* You can hide a window.
* You can create user defined 'hotspots' on any window, and call a
user-defined function when the mouse is in the area of the hotspot and
the user chosen mouse event has occurred.
* You can create mouse event driven programs easily.
* Double click and press-release mouse events are supported.
* Left, right, and middle button (Logitech type) mouse presses are
supported.
* Mouse can be used to scroll popup, pulldown, and bar menus created with
The C Window Library.
* Mouse is aware if you are using The C Data Forms function library.
Choose any field at any time with the mouse.
* You can create side and bottom scroll bars on a window. Scroll bars are
implemented with scroll buttons, as well as a moving highlight block.
You can also use the scroll bars if you do not have a mouse.
* Scroll bars can have one of 4 different sizes, small, medium, large, and
full length. You can have left handed scroll bars (side scroll bar is on
the left), or a right handed scroll bar system (scroll bar is on the right
edge of the window).
* All API mouse functions, including the new Microsoft version 8.0 mouse
functions, are supported.
* Change default mouse button presses at any time.
The cost of this great library is only $25 for the object code and the source
code. Tight budgeted people can obtain the medium model verson of the
library for only $10, and can upgrade to the full version for only the
difference in price.
The C Mouse Library supports Turbo, Microsoft, Power, and Zortech compilers.
Also required is The C Window Library.
